Announcements:

Rules 15.2.6 NMAC & 15.2.7NMAC have been amended. Please review and print new rules in effect for your records. The changes to the rules are effective as of November 1, 2011.

NMRC is accepting bids for Auditor and Veterinary Services for the SunRay Park race meet; deadline to submit a bid is March 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. A total 42 race days (April 20, 2012 - June 26, 2012) will be held. All bids must be sent to the attention of Laura Valencia.

Please be advised that the New Mexico Racing Commission, after receiving input during a recent Medication Committee meeting, will resume testing for Aminocaproic Acid.

If the presence of this drug is detected in a sample provided by a race horse, the trainer may be charged with a penalty assessed with a Class 4 drug.

There will be a $35.00 fingerprint fee assessed on all applicants requiring a set of prints to be submitted with their NM Racing License. Payment must be made in the form of a money order or cashier’s check payable to NM Racing Commission.
